Mr. Amit Ranade is General Manager of MKCL's Learning Innovations Program (LIP) and has been associated with MKCL since 2005.

He is an Engineering Graduate in Computer Science (B.E CSE) and MBA in Marketing and Systems. He has 9 Years of experience in the eLearning Domain with MKCL. He coordinates the development of MKCL's homegrown eLearning platform, ERA (ELearningRevolution for ALL), which includes eContent Development Factory, eContent Distribution and Management System, eLearning Management System, and eAssessment Management and instant eCertification System. These are used for diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, as well as various online examinations and recruitment events. Today, the ERA Framework is available on 5000+ servers and LANs in a quasi-online mode at all 5000+ learning centers, serving millions of learners in self-paced, interactive, and social-media-enabled collaborative learning environments.

His role involves:

  • Specifying business requirements for offering unique pedagogy/andragogy of the Inform-to-Perform and Perform-to-Transform approach, and coordinating the development of Learning Content, Learning Process, and Learning Environment. He coordinates with the Technical and Business Analyst teams for system development to support academic processes in ERA.
  • Providing technical support for Channel Partner Network. He manages the technical support team for Channel Partner Network Support System for MKCL and other Joint Ventures to ensure uninterrupted and continuous availability of the Learning Environment.
  • Conducting action research: He operates a learning center managed by MKCL and observes the Learning Process and Environment closely, helping improve and simplify the content and frameworks, and aiding the development of new educational programs.
  • Identifying and devising offerings in association with various domain experts.
  • Managing the curriculum development team to ensure content and curriculum quality in educational programs like MKCL's IT Literacy and Functionality programs, focusing on skill and career-building approaches. These programs aim to impart integral skills with global best practices. He also conducts Academic Training to ensure uniformity in offerings.
