Corrigendum (2): Extension of Application Deadline for MT/SPA Positions

This is to inform that, the deadline for submitting applications for the Management Trainee (MT) and Senior Project Associates (SPA) positions has been extended.
New Application Deadline: Friday, 12th July 2024, 11:59 PM
All other terms and conditions of the application process remain unchanged.

SPA/ MT RECRUITMENT - 2024 REVISED DATES

“M/s. Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited” (OKCL), a public limited company, under the administrative control of the Electronics & Information Technology Department, Government of Odisha, extends the advertisement for the requirement of qualified, experienced highly motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for Senior Project Associate (1 position with 2 years of experience) & Management Trainee (3 Positions for fresher).  

Last date of application: 28^th June, 2024

 NOTES:

• Applications submitted after 5:00 PM on June 28, 2024, will not be accepted.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for hands-on-test(s) and interviews. No intimation will be made to candidates who are not shortlisted.

SELECTION TEST DETAILS FOR ALL POSITIONS

The selection process shall be a two-stage process consisting of

1. Online Test
2. Hands-on Test and Final Interview

• Candidates need to take an online selection test from their home through OKCL’s Online Exam Framework.
• For the online test, candidates must have a good stable internet connection with a desktop/laptop computer with a Webcam and microphone.
• Candidates must be alone in a quiet environment for the duration of the exam. Conversation with anyone else is not permitted during the exam.
• Use of any reference materials, resources, other mobile/tablet, earphones-headphones, other computer screens, and/or other software is not permitted during the exam.
• A mock test can be taken on Tuesday, 9th July 2024 from 10 am to 8 pm. Online Final exam shall be conducted on Wednesday, 10th July, 2024 from 11 am to 12 Noon. The results of the online test shall be declared on Tuesday, 16th July 2024 at 5 pm.
• Maximum Marks that can be obtained for online test: 100.
• Total number of questions: 100
• There shall be no negative marking.
• Multiple options will be given to each question. Each Question will carry 1 Marks
• Test Duration: 60 minutes
• OKCL expects that candidates should have the following skills and questions will be asked based on the following sessions.

Part I: Tools

1. Candidate must have IT Skills: advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows.
2. Candidate should have excellent command over MS Excel.
3. The candidate should be able to present the concept through an impressive PowerPoint presentation.
4. Candidate should have complete command over MS Outlook and should have email etiquette.
5. Candidate should have the ability to do research using the internet for various tasks.
6. Candidate should be able to create Video Presentation with Voice over.
7. Candidate should be able to use MS Project for project planning.
8. Candidate should be able to use MS Visio for designing process flows.
9. Candidate should know Business Intelligence Tools such as Google Data Studio.
10. Candidate should have the ability to learn new software, which can be, used internally (Adaptability).

PART II: Business

1. The candidate should be able to draft a good proposal.
2. The candidate should be able to draft a letter.
3. Candidate should have sound knowledge of Sales Forecasting, Market Research, and Analysis.
4. Candidate should know Customer Life Cycle Management.
5. Candidate should know Software Life Cycle Management.
6. Candidate should know about Digital Product Development Life Cycle and Design Thinking.

PART III:  Digital Marketing

1. Candidate should know basic concepts of Digital Marketing, SEO, etc.
2. Candidate should know all social media tools and marketing through them.

PART IV: Quality and IPR

1. Candidate should know about ISO 9001, ISO 27000, Lean Management, etc.
2. Candidate should know the concept of Intellectual Property Rights.

PART V: People Skills

1. Candidate should have the ability to solve problems with the relevant thought process.
2. Critical Skill – Observation - A candidate must be able to observe rather than just come to conclusions.
3. Candidate should have business meeting etiquette.
4. Candidate should be able to manage time.
5. Candidate should possess good listening Skills.
6. Candidate should have the ability to speak effectively in public (at conferences/ at a seminar/ at a gathering of learners, etc.).
7. The candidate should be a Team Player and should have Leadership Abilities.
8. Candidate should be Innovative and should have Creative Thinking skills, Divergent thinking, and good Negotiation Skills.
9. Candidate should have Logical Reasoning, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills
10. The candidate should be able to mentor the assistants/colleagues.

Final Interview and Hands-on test will be conducted on 1^st / 2nd August 2024 (Thursday / Friday), Hands-on will be based on Part I: tools mentioned in stage 1 above. This test will be conducted at OKCL’s Registered office.
