Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha is proud to host the Grand Finale of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 at its Rourkela campus. As one of the selected Nodal Centres for this nationally celebrated innovation challenge, BPUT stands at the forefront of fostering creativity, technology, and problem-solving among India's youth.
The Smart India Hackathon, an initiative of the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MoE–IIC) and AICTE, continues to be one of the world's largest open-innovation platforms. It brings together students from across the country to solve real-world challenges presented by ministries, government departments, industries, PSUs, and organizations.
